Here's another good rainy day activity.  The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is an educational centre spotlighting Canada's role in space.  Features includes exhibits dealing with space artifacts, the feeling of being in space, astronomy, space explorations, and a space-flight simulator.

Daily 10 am - 5 pm, (also Friday 5 pm - 8 pm) Admission $12.75, over 64 and 11-18 $9.75; 5-10 $8.75, family $40.  Laser light show $9.11; For information call (604) 738-7827.  Website: www.spacecentre.ca Located at 1100 Chestnut St. in Vanier Park - Vancouver , next to the Vancouver Museum and close to the Vancouver Maritime Museum .
