Kilby Store and Farm - Harrison Mills

The Kilby Historic Store and Farm is a designated BC Heritage Historic site.  The Kilby farm had its beginnings when the general store was opened in 1906 by Thomas and Eliza Kilby.  Their son ran the store and farm from 1922 to 1977.  The five acre site lies by the banks of the Harrison River in picturesque farm country.  Costumed interpreters and exhibits include general store, post office, pantry and kitchen, milk house, farm equipment, farm animals, log cabin, and orchard playground.  Harrison Tea Room features home style cooking 1920s style.  Gift Shop.

To get the Kilby Store and Farm take Highway 7 east from Vancouver, thirty minutes past Mission to Harrison Mills.  Or take Highway 1 from Vancouver past Chilliwack, exiting to Highway 9 to Agassiz, then west twenty minutes on Highway 7 to Harrison Mills.  About a 90 minute drive from Vancouver.
