Ethnic Adventures - Finn Slough - Steveston

Activity:

We don't actually know if this qualifies as a full fledged ethnic adventure but how many areas in Vancouver do you know where there is a concentration of Finnish people.

As the story goes, this area on the south arm of the Fraser River was established in the 1880s by immigrant fishermen from Finland.

It's still a working fishing village, with somewhere around 50 people living and working there in beach cabins and float houses.
