Season Of Dreams - Langley
The Langley Community Chorus presents our 23rd annual Christmas Concert. Our Director Anita Comba has selected a wide range of seasonal music to present to you. We will be performing, in Latin, four movements of the famous and stirring Gloria in D-major by Antonio Vivaldi. Other selections include Candle in the Night; Song for a Winter's Night; December's Keep; Breath of Heaven; our beautiful title song Season of Dreams; plus several well known traditional Carols. On the lighter side we will sing the popular I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. A full song list is on our website. This will be an entertaining and enjoyable concert to get everyone in the mood for the Christmas season.

Robson Square Ice Rink Open for Free Skating
The Government of British Columbia’s Robson Square Ice Rink, located in downtown Vancouver will be open all through the Christmas Holidays, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Skating is free with your own skates, otherwise, rentals are available. The rink also features a concession stand with snacks and warm drinks. Carmen Papalia
Vancouver based artist Carmen Papalia will host a talk/workshop exploring non-visual methods of knowing and interpretation. He designs experiences that invite participants to expand their perceptual mobility and each walking tour, workshop, collaborative performance, public intervention, museum project and art object, forms a gesture that contributes to a productive understanding of accessibility. Papalia?s work has been featured in exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Columbus Museum of Art, Portland Art Museum, Vancouver Art Gallery, Gallery Gachet and the Purple Thistle Center, Vancouver. In early 2015 Papalia will embark on a three month residency at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London as the recipient of the 2014 Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary.
This series invites cultural and critical producers to present thoughts and ideas rooted in their own interests and practices, and invites audiences to join in the conversations that will explore relevant contemporary issues, theories, ideas and culture.

Carol Ships Parade Of Lights Festival at Harbour Cruises - Vancouver Harbour
This annual Christmas tradition began more than 50 years ago in Coal Harbour with one boat decorated with Christmas lights. Today, more than 50 boats festooned with 100,000-plus twinkling lights can be seen gliding through Vancouver's waterways on peak evenings. Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art. Recent solo exhibitions include: Kyohei Sakaguchi, Koki Tanaka, Lida Abdul, Sharmila Samant, Louise Noguchi, Noriko Sunayama, Yoshihiro Suda, Masashi Ogura & Paul de Guzman, Garry Neil Kennedy & Cathy Busby, Lani Maestro, Howie Tsui, YOUNG HAE CHANG HEAVY INDUSTRIES, Nobuo Kubota and Li Yilin. Gigaemi grew up in North Vancouver and belongs to the Squamish Nation Band.  In his youth he spent a fair amount of time in Europe visiting galleries and museums, which later inspired him to attend the Vancouver School of Art.
Gigaemi;s approach to his art practice is playful and explorative. He often incorporates vibrant colours, loose strokes, shapes and layers that embody the traditions and myths of his culture.

Performing to Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's beautiful music, this traditional ballet has beautiful sets designed by Jean Claude Olivier and extravagant, colourful costumes by Chris Sinosich.
