Historic Stewart Farm - Surrey

Activity:

A farm, circa 1880s, restored and furnished to represent what life was like at the turn of the century.  Located on the banks of Nicomekl River, the Historic Stewart Farm operated as a hay farm for sixty years.  Visitors may tour the Victorian farmhouse with costumed guides, bring a picnic (the grounds are lovely) or walk on the trails.

Located at 13723 Crescent Road, South Surrey.  
Mid-February to mid-December, open Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday noon - 4 pm.  Closed mid-December to mid-February.  Admission by donation.  For more information call 604-592-6956.

To get there, follow the same directions to get to Crescent Beach:  assuming you are taking Highway 99 south from Vancouver, exit off highway 99 just before where highway 99a and 99 intersect.  Follow the signs to Crescent Beach.  Once on Crescent Road, after a mile or two, look for the Historic Stewart Farm sign.
