Take me out to the ball game - Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver
Activity:
For some reason every time I hear Van Morrison make reference to "the stadium" in "Brown Eyed Girl", I always think of the 6,500-seat old timer, Nat Bailey Stadium. Home to the triple A Vancouver Canadians baseball team of the Pacific Coast league. A great way to spend a warm summer afternoon or evening. Here's a song to hum to as you take in the game on a sunny day:
Take me out to the
ballgame,
Take me out to the
crowd.
Buy me some peanuts
and cracker jacks,
I don't care if I
ever get back.
Cause it's root, root,
root for the home team,
If they don't win
it's a shame.
For it's one, two,
three strikes you're out,
at the old ballgame.
