"Empty Bowls" Throwing Competition: 15 of BC's best potters, including Bob Kingsmill, Vincent Massey and ceramic instructors from many lower mainland colleges and art institutions, will be demonstrating their throwing talents in this one-of-a-kind competition. There will also be ceramics activities for families and displays. Bowls created will be decorated by Burnaby school children, then sold for the "Gala" fundraising event being held at the Shadbolt on April 24th. Proceeds to help Burnaby's Food First Committee address issues of hunger in our community.
